Cabanatuan City's vibrant art community came together on September 26, 2026, as this year’s Sinclair National Art Competition held its 5th Roadshow Leg at Artillera Galerie, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, marking a significant milestone for the nationwide competition and the official inauguration of the newly established art space. The event brought together a vibrant community of artists, art educators, creatives, and art enthusiasts, creating an afternoon of artistic exchange, learning, and inspiration. Leading the roadshow was the Sinclair Team, joined by Filipino artist, educator, curator, and cultural advocate Eleazar Abraham “Abe” L. Orobia, together with United Artists Society’s Alfon “Box Populi” Casabuena, and Contemporary Filipino Artist Wellers Vicencio. The distinguished artists and cultural advocates shared their perspectives and experiences, encouraging participants to explore their creative practice further and engage with the opportunities presented by the Sinclair National Art Competition.
The roadshow also coincided with the inauguration of Artillera Galerie, owned and curated by Mr. Francis Valdecantos and his wife Joyce Santos Valdecantos, adding another milestone to the event. The new gallery provides a dedicated space for artists and art enthusiasts in Cabanatuan City and the wider Nueva Ecija community to experience, showcase, and celebrate art.
The Cabanatuan roadshow served as another meaningful stop in Sinclair’s continuing effort to connect with artists and creative communities across the country. Through the nationwide roadshow series, Sinclair provides opportunities for artists to discover the competition, exchange ideas, and become part of a broader community that celebrates Filipino artistic expression. With the inauguration of Artillera Galerie and the gathering of Cabanatuan’s art community, the fifth roadshow leg underscored the growing momentum of the Sinclair National Art Competition 2026 and its continuing journey to discover and celebrate artistic voices from different parts of the Philippines.
Artists nationwide are encouraged to take part and explore the possibilities offered by the two competition categories.
