Trade Marketing Specialist


Duties and Responsibilities

1. Primary Responsibilities

  • Handles (1) BU
  • Develop and implement trade marketing plans, including promotions, discounts, POSM (point-of-sale materials), and in-store activations across general trade channels
  • Ensure planogram compliance, high visibility, and correct execution through regular store visits, audits, and training of merchandisers
  • Work with sales teams to align trade programs, optimize budgets, and drive account-level growth
  • Maintain strong relationships with retail partners and distributors, ensuring collaborative promo planning and feedback
  • Provide actionable insights to sales and marketing, and monitor competitor and market trends
  • Manage promotional calendars and ensure cross-functional coordination for timely implementation
  • Conduct promo sales/claims review
  • Conduct trade check for the BU handled

2. General Responsibilities

  • Application / communicate directly with DTI for promo registration
  • Direct communication to Trade Store owner/staff
  • Processing of request related to Modern Trade accounts

3. Process Involvement

  • Trade Marketing Plan
  • Trade Execution

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or any related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Sales, Brand Management, or related functions, preferably in the FMCG, consumer goods, or retail industry.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing trade marketing programs, promotions, and in-store activations.
