Sinclair The New Generation Paint Awards Outstanding Filipino Artists in Its National Art Competition

In celebration of its 25th Anniversary and National Arts Month, Magna Prime Chemical Technologies, Inc., in partnership with the United Artists Society, successfully concluded the Sinclair National Art Competition at the Sinclair Pro Store in Del Monte, Quezon City, last Thursday, February 26, 2026.

The nationwide initiative brought together talented Filipino artists who explored the creative possibilities of Sinclair Makaw Microcement Lime Plaster and Effect Paints. The competition demonstrated how advanced decorative finishes can move beyond function—transforming walls and canvases into immersive artistic experiences.

The culminating event gathered artists, designers, partners, and guests for a vibrant celebration of creativity, during which the winning works were unveiled and recognized before a live audience. The exhibit transformed the Sinclair Pro Store into a dynamic gallery space—demonstrating how decorative finishes can move seamlessly from product application to artistic expression.

The awarded pieces in both Canvas Obra and Wall Obra stood as powerful examples of how material innovation can shape mood, texture, and spatial experience. Each work reflected not only technical excellence but also deeply personal narratives—ranging from cultural identity and social commentary to family, resilience, and environmental themes.

More than a competition, the Sinclair National Art Competition has become a platform for collaboration between artists and the design community—bridging fine art, architecture, and surface technology in ways that expand possibilities for the decorative industry.

As Sinclair marks its 25th year, the event reinforces a clear direction forward: continuing to invest in Filipino creativity, supporting emerging talents, and redefining how walls, spaces, and surfaces can inspire.
