Sapal Elastic Sealant & Waterproofer



SAPAL Elastic Sealant & Waterproofer is a weather resistant, water-based acrylic sealant and waterproofer for use as sealant and waterproofing membrane for old and new roofs, gutters, joints and cracks, and for to common construction materials including concrete, tegula, cement, metal surfaces, limber and plastic that cures into a tough elastic film that can withstand severe expansion and contraction movements. It's elastic, ready to use. Weather resistant, durable, solvent-free does not crack overtime and can be printed over with a water-based paint.

As Sealant

As Waterproofer

As a Sealant

Clean and dry the surface before application. Remove all laitance, dust, oil contaminants and previous coating from area of application. Scrape off flaking paint and any loose material.

Apply SAPAL on the area of application with use of spatula. Do not dilute with water, apply SAPAL directly.

Estimated data: 3-5 sq. m per liter per coat

Limitation: Don not use on damp or wet surface

As a Waterproofer (for vertical or horizontal application)


Clean and dry the surface before application. Remove all laitance, dust, oil contaminants and previous coating form the substrate. Allow new concrete to cure for a minimum of 28 days.

Dilute 1 part of SAPAL to half part water. Mix thoroughly in a separate clean container.

Apply SAPAL with the use of brush or roller over substrate.

Allow an undercoating interval of 2-3 hours.

Let dry for 24 hours before flood testing.

Estimated data: 5-6.5 sq. m per liter per coat. For roof deck, basements: 3-5 coats. For walls, kitchen, toilet and bath: 2-3 coats.
